Okay, so, today I decided to dive deep into the Scatterbug situation in Pokemon Go. You know, trying to collect all those different Vivillon patterns? It’s been a JOURNEY, let me tell you.
Getting Started – Adding Friends Like Crazy
First things first, I realized I needed a LOT more friends from all over the world. I started by hitting up some online forums, and some discord groups. I just posted my friend code and basically begged people to add me. My strategy? Cast a wide net!
I added anyone and everyone, didn’t even care about their trainer level, Because what realy matters are those gifts.
The Grind – Pinning and Praying
The real work began after I got dozens of friends. Every day, I made sure to open the maximum number of gifts. The key is to PIN the postcards before opening the gifts. I learned that the hard way, wasting a few precious gifts early on. So, yeah, pin first, then open.
I kept track of which regions I still needed. It’s kind of a pain, but you gotta do it if you want those fancy Vivillon. I made a simple checklist on my phone. You can use note by your self.
The Results (So Far!)
- Successes: I finally managed to evolve a few Scatterbug into Vivillon with patterns I’d been missing for ages! I got a elegant one,That felt so rewarding.
- Frustrations: Still waiting on some key regions,some friends just aren’t consistent with sending gifts, It’s all part of the game, I guess.
- Lessons Learned: Patience is KEY. And don’t be afraid to, uh, “remind” your friends to send gifts. A little nudge in a online group never hurts.
I’m not done yet, not by a long shot. But I’m feeling pretty good about my progress. It’s definitely a marathon, not a sprint. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some more gifts to open!
