Okay, so I’ve been hooked on Pokemon Go again lately. It’s a fun way to, you know, get out of the house and wander around. And I heard about these Genesect Drives, so I decided to give it a shot. I started by opening up the game, you know, the usual routine. Checked my nearby Pokemon, spun a few PokeStops, that sort of thing.
Getting Prepared
I knew I needed to be ready for a raid, because that’s where you find Genesect.

First I made sure I had a few Raid Passes. You always gotta check that, it would suck to miss a raid.
Then, made sure I had a good team. I went with some strong Fire-types, cause I remembered Genesect is weak to Fire.
- Checked my Raid Passes.
- Picked my strongest Fire-type Pokemon.
- Made sure I had enough Potions and Revives, just in case.
The Raid Battle
Then I saw it – a Genesect raid popping up nearby! I hoofed it over there, hoping I wouldn’t be late. I got there and joined. Luckily there was a large group of other players.
The battle started, and man, Genesect is tough! Everyone was throwing in their best, and my Pokemon were taking a beating. I used a few Max Revives to get them back in the fight. It was intense! We kept at it, dodging attacks and throwing out charged moves. It took to the last minute to get it done.
Catching Genesect and Getting the Drive
Finally, we took it down! Woo! Then came the catching part, always a bit nerve-wracking. I used a Golden Razz Berry and threw a few Excellent throws and finally caught it.
And guess what? After I caught Genesect, I checked its details, and I had a different Drive! It might be Shock Drive, Burn Drive, Chill Drive, or even Douse Drive! So the grind is real, gonna catch all of them.
So that’s my Genesect Drive adventure. It was a blast, and it’s a pretty cool way to get a unique Pokemon. If you’re playing Pokemon Go, I definitely recommend giving it a try!
