So, I wanted to check out my Steam Year in Review, specifically how many hours I’d sunk into games this year. It’s always a bit shocking, you know? Like, “Wow, did I really spend that much time clicking heads?”
Figuring it Out
First, I opened up Steam. Duh. Then, I stared at the main page for a bit, completely lost. I clicked around the usual spots – my profile, the store, the library… nothing. Where the heck was this Year in Review thing?

I minimized Steam and opened up my browser to get a little hint. A quick search told me I had to be logged into the Steam website to access the review.
Getting There
I logged into Steam on my browser. And still I’m a bit confused, where is it?
I went back to my search result, it is said “Go to the Steam store page. Scroll down”.
It worked! The “Steam Replay” is right there, click it and here we go!
The Results
My total playtime greeted me. Let’s just say it was… substantial. A number that shall remain nameless, but let’s just say I could have learned a new language or, you know, written a novel. Probably not, but still!
- The Year in Review page showed me my top played games. No surprises there, really. The usual suspects that have been sucking up my free time.
- It also broke things down month by month. Interesting to see which games got my attention during different parts of the year.
- Finally, the grand total. All those hours, all those sessions, all in one glorious (or terrifying) number.
So yeah, that’s how I found my Steam Year in Review hours. A slightly embarrassing but ultimately fun little trip down memory lane. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some… uh… “research” to do. In a game. Obviously.
