Okay, so I ran into this annoying issue with MLB The Show 23 where my custom-built stadiums just weren’t showing up. It was super frustrating, spending hours crafting the perfect park only to find it MIA when I wanted to actually play a game in it. I’m gonna walk you through what I tried, what worked, and what was just a waste of time.
Initial Panic and Troubleshooting
First, I just restarted the game. Duh, right? Sometimes it’s the simple things. Closed the application completely, relaunched it, and…nothing. Stadium still wasn’t there.

Next, I checked the in-game menus again. Made sure I was looking in the right place. Vault, my creations, all that. Nope. Still invisible.
Diving Deeper (and Getting Desperate)
Then, I started messing with the stadium creator itself. I thought, “Maybe I didn’t save it right?” So, I opened up the creator, loaded my stadium (which, thankfully, was still there), made a tiny, insignificant change (like, moved a single blade of grass), and re-saved it. I even tried giving it a different name, just in case there was some weird naming conflict.
- Opened Stadium Creator.
- Loaded my missing stadium.
- Made a minor edit.
- Re-saved the stadium, even with a new name.
Still nothing. It felt like the game was just mocking me at this point.
The “Aha!” Moment (Finally!)
Okay, so after pulling my hair out for a good while, I finally figured it out. It turns out, I was skipping a crucial step after creating the stadium. I wasn’t uploading it to the online vault correctly. I was saving it locally, but the game wasn’t recognizing it for actual gameplay until it was properly uploaded.
It has to be uploaded.
Here’s what you actually need to do:
- Go into the Stadium Creator.
- Load up your stadium.
- Important Step: Find the “Upload” option (it is in the options, look closely!) and upload it to the online vault. It will give a confirmation message.
Once completed, my stadium finally appeared.
So, yeah, that was my journey through stadium-disappearance hell. Hopefully, this helps someone else avoid the same headache. Remember to upload to the Vault! Don’t just save it locally, that won’t cut it.
