Alright, so today I decided to dive into something I’ve been putting off for a while – figuring out the price of the Dreams and Nightmares Case. It’s been bugging me because I’ve got a few of these cases sitting in my inventory, and I wanted to know if I should sell them, hold onto them, or maybe even open a few.
First things first, I opened up my game. I wanted to check the in-game marketplace to get a baseline price. You know, see what the going rate is directly from the source.

I navigated through the menus – it’s always a bit of a click-fest to get where you need to go. Found the Community Market section, and typed in “Dreams and Nightmares Case”.
Okay, so prices were fluctuating, as usual. I saw some listed for a bit higher, some a bit lower. This gave me a rough idea, but I wasn’t satisfied. I wanted a broader perspective.
Next, I minimized the game and fired up my web browser. Time to hit up some of those third-party marketplace websites. I’ve used a few in the past, so I went to the ones I trust the most.
I started plugging in “Dreams and Nightmares Case” into their search bars. And… boom! There were the listings, a whole bunch of them. The prices here were a little different from the in-game market – sometimes higher, sometimes lower, depending on the site and the seller.
It’s kind of annoying, all price is different, which is also normal, so I need to find a way to figure out.
I spent a good chunk of time just browsing through these listings, trying to get a feel for the average price. I even jotted down some of the high and low prices on a notepad – yeah, I’m old school like that. It helps me visualize things better.
After comparing prices across multiple sites and the in-game market, I started to get a pretty good sense of what these cases are actually worth. It’s not rocket science, but it does take a bit of legwork to get a reliable estimate.
Finally, I decided on a price range that I felt comfortable with. I took into account the current market trends, the fees on each platform, and, frankly, how quickly I wanted to sell them (or if I wanted to sell them at all). And now, I have made the decision. It’s time to sell!
