Okay, so I’ve been on this Galarian Ponyta hunt in Pokémon GO for a while now, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey! I wanted to share my experience, from start to finish, in case anyone else is struggling or just curious about how it all went down.
Getting Started
First things first, I needed to figure out how to actually find this thing. I did some digging online (no fancy research papers, just good old forums and social media). Seems like Galarian Ponyta isn’t just wandering around everywhere. It appears more in raids, and some people said they are also in 7km eggs.
The Raids
My main tactic was to find the raids. I started checking the “Nearby” tab like a hawk. Every time I saw a raid egg pop up, I ran over, hoping it would be the right one. I joined a bunch of raids, and sometimes get beaten. And finally I got it!
The 7km Eggs
Besides the raids, I decided to focus on those 7km eggs. I only get these from gifts that my friends send, So, I made sure to open as many gifts as I could every day. I walked and walked and walked to hatch those eggs. After what felt like a million kilometers, Finally, I hatched a Galarian Ponyta from one of the eggs!
The Payoff!
It took some serious time and effort. I used up a ton of Raid Passes and wore out my shoes from all the walking, But it was totally worth it when I finally caught that first one. And It’s so great!
