Okay, so I’ve been trying to get all the flower colors in Animal Crossing, and let me tell you, those yellow hyacinths were a little tricky at first. I thought, “Yellow? That should be easy!” Turns out, there’s a little more to it than just planting random seeds.
First, I bought some hyacinth seeds from Nook’s Cranny. Timmy and Tommy always have a rotating selection, so I made sure to check every day until they had hyacinths. I grabbed some red and white hyacinth seeds because I read online that’s what you need.

My Flower Breeding Operation
- I planted the red and white hyacinths in a checkerboard pattern. You know, like, red, white, red, white, leaving a space in between each one. This is important so they have room to breed.
- I watered them every day! Gotta keep those flowers happy. I used my trusty watering can, nothing fancy.
- Then, I just waited. It took a few days, and I was starting to get impatient, but finally, I saw it! A little yellow hyacinth sprout!
I was so excited! I dug it up carefully and moved it to my special flower garden where I’m keeping all my hybrids. Now, if I plant more of these yellow hyacinths together, they should make even more yellow hyacinths. Flower power!
So yeah, that’s how I got yellow hyacinths in Animal Crossing. It’s not super hard, just takes a little patience and making sure you water those flowers! Good luck getting your own!
