Alright, so I wanted to keep better track of my Apex Legends heirloom progress. I’ve been playing for a while, and I’m pretty sure I’m getting close to that guaranteed heirloom, but I wanted a way to see for sure. I’ve seen those “Apex Heirloom Tracker” things online, figured I’d try making my own, specific to my username.
First, I poked around a bit to see what others had done. I found some examples, but they weren’t exactly what I needed. A lot of them were kinda clunky, or required me to manually enter a bunch of stuff every time I opened a pack. I wanted something that was, y’know, easy.

My Little Experiment
So, I started by just keeping a simple count. Every time I opened an Apex Pack, I’d jot it down. I used a plain old text file at first. Just username, then a number. Super basic.
Example:
- MyCoolUsername: 12
Every time I opened a pack, I’d just update the number. 13… 14… 15… you get the idea. This was okay, but it wasn’t very… visual. And it was a pain to keep updating manually.
I upgraded my simple note, and I’ve been using it for a little bit now. I still have to manually update it, which kinda sucks, but at least I can see how many packs I’ve opened, tied directly to my username. It’s a step up from just guessing, that’s for sure!
That is my all story and my little tracker, hope you guys find it helpful.
