Okay, so today I wanted to figure out the best way to beat Sudowoodo in Pokémon. You know, that weird tree-looking thing that’s actually a Rock type? Yeah, that one. It can be a bit tricky if you’re not prepared, so I did a little experimenting.
First, I gathered my team. I knew I needed something that could hit Sudowoodo’s weaknesses hard. Since it’s a Rock type, it’s weak to Water, Grass, Fighting, Ground, and Steel.
My Experimenting Phase
- I started with my trusty Blastoise. I figured a good old Water Gun or Hydro Pump should do the trick.
- Then, I tried out my Venusaur. Razor Leaf and Solar Beam seemed like solid options.
- I even considered using my Machamp, thinking a good Cross Chop or Dynamic Punch would knock it out.
- Also I tried out ground type pokemon.
- Also I tried out Steel type pokemon.
The Results
After a few battles, here’s what I found:
- Blastoise did pretty well! Water-type moves are super effective, and Blastoise has good defense, so it could take a few hits.
- Venusaur was also a good choice. Grass-type moves did a lot of damage.
- Machamp, surprisingly, I find it is the best choice, a super effective hit could simply one shot.
- Ground and steel types were good.
So, to sum it up, if you’re facing a Sudowoodo, I recommend using a strong Water, Grass, or Fighting-type Pokémon like above I mentioned. Ground and steel is good, too. Just make sure your Pokémon has some good moves of that type, and you should be golden!
