Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into Pokemon Go lately, trying to beef up my battle squads. I kept hearing whispers about this Perrserker thing, so I figured, “Why not? Let’s see what the fuss is about.”
Getting My Hands on a Galarian Meowth
First things first, I needed a Galarian Meowth. Regular Meowth? Nope, won’t do. I remembered they pop up in 7km eggs sometimes, so I started walking. And walking. And walking some more. My shoes probably hate me now. Finally, after cracking open like a dozen eggs – bam! – Galarian Meowth.

The Evolution Grind
Next up, candy. Lots and lots of Meowth candy. I used every Pinap Berry I had, hit up every Meowth nest I could find, and made that little guy my buddy. It felt like forever, but eventually, I hit that sweet spot – 50 candies. Time to evolve!
Perrserker: First Impressions
Okay, so Perrserker looks pretty cool, all Viking-like. But was it good? I threw it into a few gym battles, and honestly, it felt… okay. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t exactly wiping the floor either. I started to wonder if I’d wasted all that time and effort.
Digging into the Stats
I decided to do some actual research (shocking, I know). Turns out, Perrserker has a decent attack stat, but its defense is kinda…meh. Its moveset seemed pretty important, too. I learned that Metal Claw and Iron Head were the way to go for optimal damage.

Putting It to the Test (Again)
Armed with this new knowledge, I tweaked Perrserker’s moves and took it for another spin. This time, things felt a little better. It was definitely holding its own against certain types, especially those weak to Steel. But against heavy hitters? Still a bit squishy.
My Verdict
So, is Perrserker “good” in Pokemon Go? I’d say it’s… situational. It’s not going to be your top pick for every battle, but it can definitely pull its weight in the right matchups. If you’re looking for a solid Steel-type attacker and you enjoy the grind, go for it! Just don’t expect it to be a game-changer.
Perrserker can be good.
