Okay, here’s my experience with sharing AC6 codes on PC, written in a casual, personal blog style:
So, I jumped into Armored Core 6 like everyone else, right? And the customization is insane! Spent hours tweaking my mech, getting the colors just right, the weapons perfect… you know the drill.

Then I realized, “Hey, I wanna share this masterpiece with the world!” Or, at least, with my buddies on the forums. That’s where the Share ID system comes in. I figured it would be super simple, but it took me a minute to get the hang of it.
Figuring Out the Share ID Thing
First, I went into the Garage, that’s where all the magic happens. Picked the AC I wanted to share. Then, I navigated to the AC Data option. Seemed obvious enough.
There it was staring me in the face, “Upload”. Boom, clicked that, and the game spat out a code. It’s a bunch of letters and numbers, looked kinda random to me at first.
Spreading the Love (and My Awesome Mech Design)
Getting the code was the easy part. The slightly trickier part was, you know, actually sharing it. I’m mostly on PC, so I had to manually type out that code. No copy-paste, sadly.
- I posted my code on a few forums. Had to type the whole thing out manually like an old man, hope those guys appreciate it!
- Also shared it with a couple of Discord buddies. Again, all manual typing. A bit tedious, but worth it.
Getting Other People’s Designs
Of course, I also wanted to try out other people’s creations. It’s the same process, just in reverse.
I found some cool Share IDs online, went back into the Garage, then AC Data. This time, I chose Download. Typed in the code (yep, manually again!), and bam! Someone else’s awesome mech was ready to roll in my game.
Some Final Thoughts
It’s a pretty cool system, letting us share designs like this. My only real gripe is the lack of copy-paste on PC. Maybe they’ll patch that in later? Fingers crossed!
Anyway, that’s my experience with the Share ID codes in Armored Core 6. Go out there, create some killer mechs, and share them with the world! Or, you know, just download mine. It’s pretty sweet. (Just kidding… mostly.)
