Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into FC 24 lately, and one player I’ve been really experimenting with is Hirving Lozano. I wanted to share my experiences with getting him to work in my squad.
Getting Started and Initial Struggles
First off, I snapped up Lozano pretty early on. His pace is what initially drew me in – I mean, who doesn’t love a speedy winger? But honestly, at first, I kinda struggled to get the best out of him. I was playing him on the right-wing in a 4-3-3 formation, and he just wasn’t making the impact I’d hoped for. His dribbling felt a bit… off, and he was getting muscled off the ball way too easily.

Experimenting with Formations and Tactics
So, I started tinkering. I switched to a 4-2-3-1, thinking the extra support in midfield might help him out. It did a little, but not enough. He was still getting isolated out wide. Then, I had a bit of a brainwave – what if I tried him as a striker?
- I moved him up top in a two-striker formation (4-4-2).
- I set his instructions to “Get in Behind” and “Stay Central”.
- I also adjusted my custom tactics to play a more direct, through-ball style.
The Breakthrough
And boom! It was like a completely different player. Suddenly, Lozano was making these incredible runs, latching onto through balls, and finishing with surprising composure. His pace became a real weapon, and defenders just couldn’t keep up with him. I even started to notice his dribbling felt much smoother when he had space to run into. He was actually scoring a ton of goal now!
Fine-Tuning and Chemistry
Of course, it wasn’t perfect straight away. I still had to tweak things a bit. I experimented with different chemistry styles, eventually settling on “Hunter” to boost his pace and shooting even further. Also, I use one strong power striker to play with * really complemented his play style.
Final Thoughts
So, that’s my Hirving Lozano journey so far. It took some trial and error, but I’ve finally figured out how to unlock his potential. He’s gone from a frustrating winger to a lethal striker in my team. The key was to play to his strengths – his pace and movement – and build the team around that. If you’re struggling with him, I definitely recommend giving the striker position a try!
