Okay, so today I decided to mess around with this “spin the NBA wheel” thing I saw online. It looked kinda fun, and I figured, why not give it a shot? I mean, who doesn’t love a little random NBA excitement?
Getting Started
First things first, I had to figure out what exactly I was dealing with. I opened up a new Chrome tab. I wanted something I could actually interact with, not just a static image.
The Process
So, I started poking around. I wanted to see this wheel in action. I tried spinning it a couple of times.
- Spin 1: Boom, landed on the Lakers. Classic.
- Spin 2: Got the Celtics next. Okay, the rivalry is strong with this wheel.
- Spin 3: Warriors. Curry’s team, not bad, the animation when the wheel is spinning really made me happy!
After a few more spins, I started thinking about how this thing actually worked. I decided that i want to spin for 100 times.

My Results
After all that spinning, I got a pretty good mix of teams.
The Lakers and the Warriors both came up a lot. I also landed on some underdogs, which was * was a pretty fun little experiment. It got me thinking about all the different teams and players in the NBA. Maybe I’ll even try this again before the next big game!
It is a really interesting thing to try.
