So, I was messing around with “Flawless Duet” in League of Legends, and let me tell you, it was a journey. I wanted to see if I could really pull off some crazy plays, you know, the kind that make people go “WOAH!” in chat.
Getting Started
First things first, I needed a buddy. You can’t duet alone, right? So I grabbed my friend, who’s a pretty decent support main, and we hopped into a normal game. I’m not about that ranked stress when I’m trying something new. I picked Irelia, the champion, and we went bot lane. I figured Irelia’s mobility is great, dash to the beat, so it’s a good pick.
The Game Plan
The idea was simple: We start the song, then I make Irelia do her moves. I wanted to see if there’s any connection. I’m not super great, but my friend is pretty good at keeping me alive, so that helped a lot.
The Messy Middle
Okay, so, the laning phase was…interesting. I’m listening to the rythem and trying to do the moves. My friend, bless their heart, was trying their best to follow, but it was chaotic. We got a couple of kills, mostly because the enemy bot lane seemed just as confused as we were. I definitely flashed into some walls by accident. And wasted my ultimate more than once. It’s harder than it looks, okay?
Things Get a Little Better (Maybe?)
As the game went on, we started to get a little better at coordinating. I’d try to move to the beat. It was kinda fun, actually! We even managed to pull off a few decent engages, with me dashing in and my friend landing some clutch stuns and heals.
The Results
- Did we win? Yes, but honestly, I think the other team was just having a bad day.
- Did we look cool doing it? Sometimes! There were moments of brilliance, followed immediately by moments of “what am I doing?”.
- Would I recommend it? For fun? Absolutely. For climbing ranked? Probably not. It’s a good time with a friend, and that’s what really matters, right?
