Alright, guys, so I’ve been diving deep into Pokemon Go lately, trying to really max out my legendary Pokemon. And Raikou? Total electric powerhouse. So, I spent a good chunk of time figuring out the absolute best moveset for this beast. Let me walk you through what I did.
Experimenting with Fast Attacks
First, I checked out the Fast Attacks. I knew Raikou had a couple of options, so I wanted to see which one felt better in practice.
- Volt Switch: Seemed good, hits pretty hard.
- Thunder Shock: Also a great move, it deal good damage.
I tested out both in a bunch of raids and against Team Rocket grunts. Honestly, both felt pretty powerful, but Thunder Shock seemed to generate energy a little bit faster, and that’s huge for getting to those Charged Attacks.
Choosing the Charged Attack
Then came the Charged Attacks. This is where Raikou really shines. The main choices I looked at were:
- Wild Charge: Super strong, two-bar move. This was my initial go-to.
- Shadow Ball: I also consider Shadow Ball, a good choice to counter other types.
I messed around with both. Seriously, both are fantastic. But in the end, I wanted the most consistant output I could get. So Wild Charge is my personal choice.
Putting It All Together
So after trying out different combinations, swapping TMs, and battling a ton, here’s what I landed on as the best Raikou moveset:
- Fast Attack: Thunder Shock
- Charged Attack: Wild Charge
That’s it! It might seem simple, but trust me, this combo really tears through opponents. If you got a good Raikou, give this moveset a try. You might be surprised how much damage it can do!
