Okay, so I’ve been hyped about the Tomb Raider I-III Remastered collection, and like many of you fellow old-school gamers, I REALLY wanted a physical copy. I mean, who doesn’t love having that box on their shelf? So here’s how my little adventure went down.
The Pre-Order Hustle
First thing I did was hit up the usual suspects. I checked all the major retailers. They had listings, sure, but most were just placeholders. No concrete release date, no guarantee of actually getting a physical copy. It was frustrating!

Then i start to google it,I found that Limited Run Games was handling the physical release. Relief! These guys are known for doing awesome collector’s editions.
The Different Editions
Limited Run had a few options,I went straight for it:
- Standard Edition: Just the game, which is totally fine.
- Deluxe Edition:This had some extra goodies, a steelbook case.
I picked up the Deluxe Edition Because I like a steelbook * will be good for me.
The Waiting Game (and the Payoff!)
After placing my order, it was time to wait. Limited Run doesn’t ship immediately; they do production runs after the pre-order window closes. It took a few weeks , but that’s part of the deal with them. You gotta be patient.
Finally, the shipping notification arrived! I was like a kid on Christmas morning. And when it arrived? Totally worth it.
So, yeah, that’s my story of getting my hands on the Tomb Raider Remastered physical copy. It took a bit of effort and patience, but for a nostalgic gamer like me, it was absolutely worth it. If you’re on the fence, I say go for it! Just be prepared for a bit of a wait if you go the Limited Run route. Happy raiding!
