Okay, so I’ve been hyped for the League of Legends Split 2 start, and I wanted to document my climb, or at least my attempt at a climb, right from the get-go.
Getting Started
First thing I did was, you know, actually log in. Sounds obvious, but with all the pre-split hype, I almost forgot the most important part! I’d been watching all the pro streams, reading patch notes, and theory-crafting in my head, totally forgetting that I needed to play the game.

Then,I quickly check news of the new split, then I queued up for my first ranked game of the split. I was feeling pretty good, a mix of nerves and excitement. Took a deep breath and hit that “Find Match” button.
The Grind Begins
- Game 1: Disaster. Total stomp. Their jungler camped my lane, my team flamed each other, and we surrendered at 15 minutes. Not the start I wanted, but hey, it happens.
- Game 2: Much better! I focused on my own gameplay, muted all chat (best decision ever), and managed to carry pretty hard. Felt good to bounce back.
- Game 3: Back and forth. Super close game, lots of team fights, and it all came down to one final push. We managed to clutch it out! Heart was pounding.
- Game 4,5:I feel good and keep playing several games, finally,I got 3W and 2L.
I played a few more games throughout the day, some wins, some losses. It’s a rollercoaster, as always. The important thing is that I kept playing, kept learning, and kept trying to improve with each game.
Initial Thoughts
It’s still early days, but I’m feeling pretty * meta feels fresh, there are a lot of different champions being played, and I’m excited to see how things evolve. My goal for this split is to just focus on improving my own gameplay, and to not get tilted by the inevitable bad games. That is the key thing I have to do!
It is just my first day’s experience and my little share,I will keep going on and see if my strategy is useful.
