Alright, so today I wanted to dive into something that’s been driving me nuts: Madden 24 MUT being down. I’ve been trying to grind out some solos and build up my team, and this is what happened.
First thing this morning, I booted up my console, super pumped to knock out some challenges. You know, get that daily coin bonus and maybe pull something decent from a pack. But nope. I was greeted with some error message about the servers being unavailable. Classic.
I figured, “Okay, maybe it’s just a quick hiccup.” So I restarted the game. Nothing. I restarted my whole console. Still nothing. At this point, I’m starting to get a little annoyed. I went to check to Twitter, and yup, sure enough, tons of other people were having the same problem. Misery loves company, I guess.
Troubleshooting Time!
- Checked the official Madden accounts: Nothing concrete, just the usual “we’re aware of the issue” type of message. Helpful…
- Looked at Down Detector: Saw a huge spike in reported outages. At least I knew I wasn’t alone.
- Tried a different internet connection: Just in case my Wi-Fi was being flaky, I switched to my phone’s hotspot. No dice.
- Cleared My Console’s Cashe:Saw this sugestion a lot online, and gave it a try. Still nothing.
So, I spent a good chunk of the day refreshing Twitter, hoping for an update. Finally, after a few hours, they announced that the servers were back up. I jumped back on, and everything seemed to be working. For now, at least.
It’s super frustrating when this happens, especially when you have limited time to play. It really throws off my whole MUT routine. Hopefully, they’ll get these server issues sorted out, because it’s getting old.
