Okay, so, I tried to get into Madden 24 MUT today, and guess what? It was totally down. Here’s how the whole mess went down.
First, I fired up my console, all excited to grind some solos and maybe open a few packs. You know, the usual Saturday routine. But when I tried to log in to Ultimate Team, boom! Error message. Something about not being able to connect to the EA servers.

My initial thought? “Okay, probably just a little hiccup.” I mean, it happens, right? Servers get overloaded, maintenance, whatever. So, I restarted the game. Nothing.
Next, I checked my internet connection. Everything looked good there. I could browse the web, stream videos, no problem. So, it definitely wasn’t on my end.
Then, I went down the rabbit hole of troubleshooting. I did the whole shebang:
- Restarted my router. Unplugged it, waited a full minute (felt like forever!), plugged it back in. Still no MUT.
- Checked the official EA Madden NFL Direct communication X account. And found many players had the same issue.
- Power cycled my console. You know, the full shutdown, not just rest mode. Nope.
Waiting Game
After all that, I was pretty much out of options. It was clearly a problem on EA’s side. All I could do was wait.
Finally after many hours, I tried again, and It’s back! I can login to MUT now, all is fine.
It was a frustrating few hours, but hey, at least it’s working now. Time to finally get some games in!
