Okay, so I wanted to figure out how long Valorant maintenance usually takes. I’ve been itching to play, but, you know, servers down. So I started digging.
First, I hopped on to a few forums. I figured other people must have asked this before, right? And yeah, lots of folks were talking about it. Some were saying it’s super quick, like an hour, tops. Others were complaining it could drag on forever.

My Little Experiment
So I thought, why not track it myself? So, next time a maintenance period was in the news, I decided to monitor the maintenance time.
- Started my timer the second the servers went offline.
- Kept refreshing the Valorant status page, you know, just in case.
- Also checked their social pages. Sometimes they drop updates there.
This particular time, it took almost exactly one and half an hours. Not too bad, I guess. I’ve definitely waited longer for other games to update.
The next maintenance period started and I started my experiment again to verify the duration. The whole process was basically the same. However, the maintenance took a little longer this time. It’s almost two hours!
My Conclusion(so far…)
Based on my super scientific research (haha), it seems like Valorant maintenance is usually between one and two hours. Of course, it could be shorter or longer depending on what they’re doing. It also depends to the size of patches and regions, I think.
Anyway, that’s my experience. Hope it helps someone else who’s impatiently waiting to get back in the game!
