Okay, so yesterday, I decided to dive back into Pokemon Go. It’s been a while, but I figured, why not? I was particularly excited about getting my Charizard to battle. I mean, who doesn’t love a good Charizard fight?
Getting Started
First things first, I opened the app and made sure everything was updated. Nothing worse than getting ready to play and having to wait for a download. Once that was sorted, I checked my Pokemon storage to see how my Charizard was doing.

Powering Up
My Charizard was already pretty strong, but I wanted to make him even better. So, I started by using some Stardust and Candies to power him up. I tapped the “Power Up” button a few times. Watched those numbers go up. Pretty satisfying, I gotta say.
- Gathered Stardust and Candies.
- Used them to boost Charizard’s CP.
- Checked the stats after each power-up.
Choosing Attacks
Next up, I wanted to make sure Charizard had the best attacks. I remembered that Fire Spin and Blast Burn are a killer combo. I checked his moves and, lucky me, he already had them! If he hadn’t, I would’ve used a TM to change them. Seriously, those moves make a huge difference.
Fire Spin and Blast Burn, remmember that!
The Battle
Alright, time for the main event. I joined a raid battle. I’m not gonna lie, it felt pretty epic to select Charizard and watch him swoop into the arena. When the battle started, I just kept tapping, using Fire Spin over and over. Then, when the charged attack was ready, I unleashed Blast Burn. Man, it looked awesome! Charizard was just wrecking everything. We took down the raid boss pretty easily, and I have to say, Charizard was definitely the MVP.
Final Thoughts
It was a blast getting back into Pokemon Go and seeing my Charizard in action. Powering him up and making sure he had the right attacks really paid off. If you’re looking to dominate in battles, definitely focus on those two things. Trust me, it makes all the difference. Feeling good now!
