Okay, so I wanted to figure out this whole “dragonite card price” thing. I’ve got a few old Pokemon cards lying around, and I heard some Dragonite cards can be worth a decent amount. So I figured, why not dive in and see what I can find?
First, I grabbed my old binder of cards. It’s a mess, honestly. Cards everywhere, some bent, some in pretty good shape. I dug through it all until I found my Dragonite cards. I think I have like, three or four different ones.

Next, I went on my computer. I typed something into the search, you know, “dragonite card value” or something like that. A bunch of websites popped up, some were for selling cards, price guides… it was a lot.
I started clicking around. I noticed pretty quickly that there are a ton of different Dragonite cards. Different sets, different artwork, different everything! It’s not as simple as just “Dragonite.” Some have that holo thing going, and that seems to matter. Some show pictures of the card and how much they think it costs. I am trying to figure out the differences between all of these.
I spent a good chunk of time just trying to match my cards to the pictures and descriptions I was seeing online. It’s kinda tricky, some of them look really similar. One of my cards is that dark dragonite and the other is the fossil set. It helps to be able to tell them apart.
After all that digging, I think I have a rough idea of what my cards might be worth. They’re not all in perfect condition, which I learned definitely affects the price. I think some cards might be worth more than others, but, hey, it’s more than I thought! It shows a huge difference between some of the highest and lowest prices.
So, that’s where I’m at. I figured out some basics, but it’s definitely more complicated than I expected. Still, it was kinda fun to do a little detective work and learn something new about these old cards!
