Alright, guys, let’s talk about some serious firepower in Destiny. I’ve been grinding away, trying to figure out the absolute best PVE weapons, and I’m here to share my messy, totally unscientific findings.
My Quest for Power
First, I started by just grabbing whatever looked cool. Big mistake. I was getting melted by yellow bars faster than a snowman in July. So, I knew I had to get a little more… strategic.

I started hitting up the forums and watching some videos. There’s a TON of info out there, which is both awesome and totally overwhelming. It made me realize that my idea of “best” might be very different from someone else’s, depending on playstyle and what activity I was planning to tackle.
The Experimentation Phase
My next step was to just start testing things out. I spent, no joke, hours just running around, blasting enemies, and swapping weapons. I focused on a few things:
- How fast could I kill stuff? This is PVE, after all. I’m not here to tickle enemies.
- Ammo economy. Running out of ammo mid-fight is the WORST.
- “Feel” of the weapon. This is super subjective, but some guns just feel better to use.
I tried a bunch of different weapon types. I messed with Auto Rifles, Pulse Rifles, Hand Cannons, you name it. I even spent some time with those weird Fusion Rifles that everyone seems to love. I also dove into the world of Exotics – those super-powered, unique weapons that can totally change your game.
The Messy Results
Honestly, my notes are a disaster. Pages of scribbled damage numbers, random thoughts about perks, and probably some coffee stains. But after all the chaos, a few clear winners started to emerge.
Through a lot of trail and error, I found a few things that worked best for me. And when I say “best”, I really mean the stuff that I was best at using at the time. I was starting to figure out what combos worked and what didn’t.
From that point, I knew that I was on the right track to finding some real powerful stuff to use. And to be honest, that’s the name of the game. Find what works for you, your style, and what you are actually good at using and start building that load out.
So, there you have it – my completely chaotic journey to find some awesome PVE weapons. It’s an ongoing process, but I’m definitely having fun blowing stuff up along the way!
