Okay, so I’ve been messing around with Marvel Snap, and I gotta say, the Dino decks are pretty fun. I wanted to share my experience building and playing one, ’cause it’s been a wild ride.
Getting Started with Dino
First, I needed to get my hands on Devil Dinosaur. He’s the core of the whole thing, right? His power goes up for each card in your hand, so the idea is to keep your hand full.

Building the Deck
I started throwing in cards that help me draw more cards.
- Agent 13: she is a great 1 cost card with great power.
- Sentinel: He adds another Sentinel to your hand, keeping those numbers up.
- Moon Girl: Oh man, she’s a game-changer. Duplicates your hand.
Then, I included some cards that can do some great combo.
- The Collector: Gets buff when I play a card from anywhere, he is good combo with those card draw cards.
- White Queen: Copies the highest-Cost card, it may give me big cost card from my opponent.
And of course, protection!
- Armor: Keeping my Dino safe from those pesky destroy effects.
- Cosmo: No reveal abilities here, thank you very much. Shuts down a lot of nasty surprises.
Playing the Game
The early game is all about building up my hand. I use Agent 13, Sentinel, and try to hold onto Moon Girl for turn four if possible. The Collector is there to get little bonus for playing all these cards.
Turn four is where things get interesting. If I have Moon Girl, I play her and duplicate my hand. This usually gives me a massive Devil Dinosaur for turn five or six. If I don’t get Moon Girl, I might play White Queen to see what my opponent’s packing and maybe grab something big for myself.
Turn five, I’m ideally dropping Devil Dinosaur. Turn six, I’m assessing the board. Sometimes I need to play another big card, sometimes it’s better to spread out my power with smaller cards, depending on the locations and what my opponent’s doing.
What I Learned
It took some practice. I lost a few games figuring out the right timing and how to play around certain cards. You gotta be careful about Shang-Chi, he can wreck your Dino in a heartbeat. Enchantress can also be a pain, stripping Dino of his ongoing ability.
But when it works, it’s glorious. Seeing that huge Dino power up is super satisfying. I’ve pulled off some crazy wins with this deck.
It’s not perfect, and I’m still tweaking it, but it’s a blast to play. If you’re looking for a fun deck that can pack a punch, give the Dino deck a try! You might surprise yourself with how well it can do.
