Alright, so I’ve been messing around with FIFA 23, and I wanted to see how good Hakimi really is in the game. I’d heard a lot of hype, so I figured, why not give it a shot?
Getting Started
First things first, I booted up the game and headed straight into Ultimate Team. That’s where all the fun player stuff is, right? I already had a decent squad, but I was lacking a really solid right-back. I went to the transfer market, typed in “Hakimi,” and boom, there he was.

Checking Out the Stats
- Pace: Blazing fast! Seriously, this guy can outrun almost anyone.
- Dribbling: Super smooth. He feels really agile on the ball.
- Defending: Solid. He’s not a brick wall, but he gets the job done.
- Passing: Pretty decent. I could ping the ball around with him no problem.
Taking Him for a Spin
I threw Hakimi straight into my starting lineup and played a few Division Rivals matches. First impressions? Wow. His pace is a total game-changer. I could send him sprinting down the wing, and he’d just blow past defenders. It was like having an extra attacker on the field.
I also noticed how good he was at getting back on defense. Even if he got caught out of position, his speed let him recover quickly. It felt like having a safety net on that right side of the field.
Experimenting a Bit
After a few games, I started to experiment with different tactics. I tried setting him to “Join the Attack” to see how he’d perform as a more offensive player. He started making some really dangerous runs, and I even managed to score a few goals with him. Pretty sweet!
I also played around with custom tactics, telling him to overlap more. I was able to get on the end of long balls and cross it into my Striker. It was pretty effective with all that pace.
My Final Thoughts
Honestly, Hakimi in FIFA 23 is a beast. He’s fast, agile, and can contribute both offensively and defensively. If you’re looking for a top-tier right-back for your Ultimate Team, I’d definitely recommend giving him a try. He’s been a total game-changer for my squad, and I think he could be for yours too.
So that’s how I go playing Hakimi, all said and done, he’s a go to player for my team!
