Okay, so I’ve been playing a lot of Pokemon Go lately, and I decided I really wanted to focus on catching Bunnelby. I just like that little normal-type rabbit, you know?
First, I opened the app and checked the nearby radar. Nothing. Usually, there are a few common spawns around my house, but no Bunnelby this time.

Next, I decided to take a walk around my neighborhood. I figured if I hit up a few Pokestops, I might get lucky and trigger some spawns. I walked for about 20 minutes, spinning every stop I could find.
- First stop: Nothing but a few potions.
- Second stop: A couple of those annoying bird Pokemon.
- Third stop: Still no Bunnelby! I was starting to get a little discouraged.
Then, I remembered that Incense can attract Pokemon to your location. I activated one, hoping that would change my luck. I kept walking, keeping an eye on the screen.
The Moment of Truth!
After about 10 more minutes of walking with the Incense active, I saw it! A little Bunnelby silhouette appeared on my nearby radar. I almost jumped for joy! I tapped on the radar and saw it was just down the street.
I hurried over to the spot, and there it was! A Bunnelby, just chilling on the map. I tapped on it, and the catching screen loaded.
I threw a regular Pokeball – didn’t want to waste anything fancy on a common Pokemon. It shook once… twice… three times… and CLICK! I caught it! Finally, success with Bunnelby in Pokemon Go.
So, that’s my Bunnelby catching adventure. Took a little bit of walking and a bit of Incense, but I finally got one. Sometimes, it’s the simple things in Pokemon Go that are the most satisfying.
