Alright, so I’ve been messing around with F1 24, trying to dial in a decent setup for Bahrain. It’s a tricky track, with those long straights and then some tight corners that can really mess you up if you’re not careful. Here’s what I did, and it seemed to work pretty well.
Aerodynamics
First thing I tackled was the aero. I went with a lower downforce setup here, given all those straights.

- Front Wing: I started and ended up settling at a 19 . Felt like a good balance.
- Rear Wing: I played with this, and 15 it gave good speed down the straights.
Transmission
For transmission, it’s all about getting that power down efficiently.
- Differential Adjustment On Throttle: I set this to 55%.
- Differential Adjustment Off Throttle: I ended up at 50%
Suspension Geometry
This is where things get a little finicky. Bahrain has those curbs you can really attack, but you don’t want to be bouncing all over the place.
- Front Camber: Went a bit more than half, -2.50.
- Rear Camber: -1.00, seemed pretty stable.
- Front Toe-Out: 0.05.
- Rear Toe-In: Maximum value is always the best option, so 0.20.
Suspension
I wanted a setup that was stiff enough to handle the high-speed corners, but also compliant enough to ride those curbs.
- Front Suspension: I went with a 35.
- Rear Suspension: Lowered to 7.
- Front Anti-Roll Bar: 7 seemed to give good turn-in.
- Rear Anti-Roll Bar: 1.
- Front Ride Height: I set 35.
- Rear Ride Height: Slightly higher, 75.
Brakes
Braking is crucial in Bahrain, especially into that Turn 1 hairpin.
- Brake Pressure: 100%. I want all the stopping power.
- Front Brake Bias: I moved this forward a bit, ended up at 55%.
Tyres
Tyre wear isn’t the HUGE thing so much in Bahrain.
- Front Right Tyre Pressure: 23.5 psi.
- Front Left Tyre Pressure: 23.5 psi.
- Rear Right Tyre Pressure: 20.8 psi.
- Rear Left Tyre Pressure: 20.8 psi.
So, that’s basically it. I fiddled around with these settings during a few practice sessions, made some tweaks here and there, and eventually got to a point where the car felt good. It’s not gonna be perfect for everyone, since driving styles differ, but it’s a solid starting point, I think. Give it a try and see what you think. You might need to adjust a few things to suit your own style, but hopefully, this gets you in the ballpark.
