Okay, so I wanted to see which legends in Apex Legends are the most popular right now. I’ve been playing a lot of ranked, and it feels like I see the same few legends over and over. So, I decided to dig into the actual pick rates and see what’s up.
First, I tried just searching for “Apex Legends pick rates.” I found a bunch of websites, that looked like the most promising, but that was just my guess so I decided to check it out.
I opened the website and started browsing. The site has this cool interactive chart thing. It lets you filter by rank, which is awesome because the meta is way different in, like, Silver versus Masters.
I spent a good chunk of time just playing around with the filters. I checked out the pick rates for all ranks, then narrowed it down to just my rank (Diamond, if you’re curious).I compared different seasons to see how things have changed over time. This data is pretty cool for a player.
- I also noticed the site has data on legend win rates and encounter win rates.
- So, I started to check those too.
My findings
The pick rates I thought were about what I expected. Some legends are just way more popular than others, and the site data shows it.
Overall, this was a fun little project. I satisfied my curiosity about legend popularity. I will probably use this info to adjust my own legend choices in ranked. Data is power, right?
