Alright, so I’ve been trying to climb the ranked ladder in League, and my main champion is Aphelios. He’s super fun but really needs the right support to, you know, not get instantly blown up. I did some digging and played a bunch of games, and here’s what I found out about the best supports for Aphelios.
First, I looked up some stats online. Saw some stuff about win rates and synergy and whatever. Apparently, Aphelios is considered like a “C Tier” pick, whatever that means. I saw he’s supposed to be good with some top laners like Camille, Garen and Mordekaiser, but, like, that doesn’t really help me down in the bot lane, you feel me?

So, I started experimenting. I played, like, a ton of games. I went in and thought what I need in game.
- I need early advantages in lane for better scale.
- Aphelios is quite fragile, easily to be killed.
- Aphelios needs time to farm to buy necessary items.
I tried a few different supports with Aphelios. Some were okay, some were total disasters. For real, some of those games were rough. It really made me appreciate a good support player, let me tell you.
My Findings from Playing
Thresh is always a good all-around pick. I mean, that hook can totally change a fight. Plus, he’s got the lantern to get Aphelios out of trouble, which is huge. Because, let’s be real, Aphelios can be pretty squishy.
Then there’s Lulu. She’s another one I had some good luck with. Her shields and attack speed buffs are nuts with Aphelios’s different guns. And that ultimate? Forget about it. Turns Aphelios into a monster, gave me a lot of help.
But I found Braum is the best support for * shield could block lots of damage, and his passive is so easy to trigger with Aphelios’s fast attack.I feel so safety when playing with a Braum player.
So yeah, that’s my experience. Basically, I just tried a bunch of stuff, saw what worked, and what definitely didn’t work. Still learning, still climbing, but hopefully, this helps some other Aphelios players out there.
