Okay, so I wanted to get a handle on how much these “March of the Machine” cards are actually worth. You know, for trading and maybe even selling some duplicates. I decided to create my own price list.
First, I grabbed a notepad and pen – yeah, I’m old school like that sometimes. I could have used a spreadsheet, but I wanted to scribble notes and stuff. I needed a source of truth for these prices.

Then, I started browsing some of the bigger online card shops. I kept a list of the most popular ones, so it was a matter of finding their “March of the Machine” sections.
Manually Recording
- I went through each card, one by one. Yep, it was tedious.
- I wrote down the card name and the prices I saw. I made sure to note if it was “Near Mint,” “Lightly Played,” or whatever. Condition matters, you know?
- I checked a few different sites for each card, just to get an average price. Some places were way higher or lower than others.
The common cards, were easy. Like, a dime a dozen. But the rares and mythic rares, I’m looking a little bit deepr. After a while, I had a pretty decent list going.
The whole thing took me a good few hours. And my hand was cramping from all the writing! But, I ended up with a solid price list that I can now use to make sure I’m getting fair trades. Plus, I have a much better idea of which cards are actually valuable in my collection.
Finally I got my own price list.
