Alright, guys, so I’ve been grinding away at “Road to the Show” in MLB The Show 24, and let me tell you, getting traded can be a real pain. But I finally cracked the code, so I wanted to share my experience and what worked for *’s not easy, follow me!
Starting Fresh and Picking My Team
First things first, I started a new “Road to the Show” career.I spent like ten minutes just messing with the appearance, nothing big * I decided I wanted to be a starting pitcher, because, who doesn’t love striking guys out? When it came to team selection, I purposely picked a team that already had a pretty solid starting rotation. I chose the Dodgers – yeah, I know, stacked team, but hear me out. My thinking was, if the team’s already good, they’ll be more likely to trade me if I perform well, because I become a valuable asset they can flip.

Dominating the Minors (Mostly)
The minor leagues were, well, the minor leagues.I made sure to play my games. I mostly focused on completing the challenges my agent gave me. You know, the usual stuff – strike out a certain number of batters, keep your ERA down, that kind of thing. I did notice that focusing on those specific goals, rather than just trying to win every game, seemed to help boost my overall rating faster.
Demanding the Trade (Multiple Times)
-
Here’s the key part. Once I got called up to the majors (finally!), I kept an eye on my player rating. I was still developing, so I wasn’t the best pitcher on the team. Then, every few weeks, after a good stretch of games, I went into the “My Career” menu and selected the “Request Trade” option. No joke, I did this like five or six times.I guess the first few times, they just ignored me.
-
I remembed that I improved my relationships with teammates,I think that helped, too.
The Trade Offer Finally Comes
Finally, after what felt like forever, I got a notification that a team was interested in trading for me! It wasn’t immediate, it wasn’t glamorous, but it happened.I remembered that checked the “Transactions” tab in the “My Ballplayer” menu,I can see the trade offer! I accepted it immediately, of course.I was so exciting!
My Final Thoughts
So, to sum it up, getting traded in RTTS 24 is all about a few things:
- Picking a good team to start with.
- Playing well and improving your player.
- Being persistent with your trade requests.
It might take some time, but don’t give up! Keep grinding, keep requesting those trades, and eventually, you’ll end up on a new team. Good luck, and let me know if this works for you!
