Okay, so I wanted to figure out this whole “getting traded in RTTS 24” thing. I’d heard some chatter online, but nothing concrete, so I decided to dive in and see for myself. Here’s how it went down:
Getting Started
First, I rolled a new player. Didn’t matter the position, really, I just wanted to experiment. I made sure to simulate through Spring Training. I just wanted to get to the regular season and start the process.

Playing the Waiting Game
Then, I started playing games. I’m Not very good at all, I focused on just playing, not really caring about stats, call-ups, or anything like that. I played some games, simulated others, Just move on to the next steps.
Demanding the Trade!
I got to around July, and that’s when I started to check things. Go to “My Player,” then “My Career,” and look for “Request Trade.” Click that and boom, you’ve asked for a trade. Then simulate a game or two, that’s enough.
Then, simulate some * need to make sure a few days go by after you asked to trade, so the game can process it all.
The Trade Goes Through
- I simulated ahead, and yep, I got traded!
- It totally worked! It took a few in-game days for it to happen.
- I can confirm, getting traded is pretty straightforward once you know where to look.
So, if you’re stuck on a team you hate, don’t sweat it. Just request that trade and be a little patient. It might take a bit, but you’ll be on a new team before you know it. I am so happy with my experiment.Remember simulate is really important!
