Alright, so I finally got around to checking out this “Phantom Liberty” thing for Cyberpunk 2077, and I wanted to see what the overall reception was like. Figured I’d hit up Opencritic and record my process, ’cause why not?
Firing Up the Browser
First things first, I opened up my trusty browser. Nothing fancy, just the usual one I always use. I kept it simple – no need for a special incognito window or anything like that.

Navigating to Opencritic
I typed in “Opencritic” into the search bar. Didn’t even need to type out the full address, the search engine knew what I was after. Got to love those auto-suggestions, saves a few precious keystrokes!
Finding “Phantom Liberty”
Once the Opencritic page loaded, I saw their main page. It’s usually got a bunch of featured games and stuff, but I was laser-focused on finding “Phantom Liberty.”
I used the search bar on the Opencritic site – I found it. It’s usually pretty prominent, often at the top of the page or in a navigation menu.
I typed in “Phantom Liberty,”. Hit enter, and waited for the results page to load. Shouldn’t take too long, my internet’s pretty decent these days.
Browsing the Results
Boom, there it was! “Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty”. I had to be careful there could be other, older stuff for the original game.
I clicked on the entry for “Phantom Liberty.” This took me to the dedicated page for the expansion, with all the reviews and scores.
Checking out the Scores and Reviews
Now for the good stuff. I immediately saw the overall score. Usually, it’s pretty big and bold, right at the top, hard to miss. Looks like it’s doing pretty well! That is good news!
I scrolled down a bit, started browsing through the list of reviews. They usually show a snippet of the review text and the name of the reviewer/publication, and, of course, the score they gave it.
I didn’t dive deep into every single review. I just wanted to get a general sense of what people were saying. Spotted some positive comments, saw some minor criticisms here and there. Seems like a mixed bag, but mostly positive from what I could tell.
Wrapping Up
So, that’s pretty much it! I got a good overview of how “Phantom Liberty” is being received on Opencritic. Seemed like a worthwhile use of, like, five minutes. Might have to prioritize to play.

I closed the browser tab, and that was that. Mission accomplished! Time to maybe actually play the game now, haha.
