Alright, so I’ve been trying to keep up with all the new card releases in Marvel Snap, and man, it’s a whirlwind! It feels like every week there’s something new to consider, and I wanted to put my thoughts and process somewhere, so, why not here?
Tracking Down the Info
First thing I did was try to find a reliable place to see all the upcoming stuff. It’s actually kinda tricky, because there isn’t one single, perfect source. I kinda had to jump around a bit.

- I started by hitting up some websites. Seriously, just googling around for “Marvel Snap upcoming cards” brought up a bunch of articles. Most of these were summaries of data mines and leaks, which are fun, but you gotta take them with a grain of salt.
- Then I dug into some Discord communities. There are a few dedicated Marvel Snap servers where people are really into this stuff. They share leaks, discuss potential card abilities, and theorize about how new cards will fit into the meta. It’s a bit chaotic, but it’s also where you get the earliest hints.
- I started follow some content creator on Youtube. This guys always share something useful imformation.
Making Sense of It All
Once I felt like I had a good grasp on what might be coming, I started trying to organize it all. I made a simple note, nothing fancy. Just a list of the rumored cards, their abilities (if known), and their potential release dates.
For each card, I started thinking about:
- How does this card fit into existing archetypes? Does it make a certain deck type stronger? Does it open up new possibilities?
- What are the potential counters? If this card becomes popular, what cards will be good at shutting it down?
- Is it worth getting? This is the big one, right? Is this card going to be fun to play? Is it going to be powerful enough to justify spending resources on?
The Ongoing Process
The thing is, this isn’t a one-and-done deal. It’s constant. New leaks pop up, cards get officially announced (sometimes different from the leaks!), and the meta shifts. So, I’m always updating my little note, adding new cards, revising my thoughts on old ones.
I’m no pro player, but I find that doing this helps me stay ahead of the curve, at least a little bit. It’s also just fun to speculate and get hyped about new cards. And, who knows, maybe I’ll even predict the next meta-defining card! It keeps me engaged with the game, and helps me feel a bit more prepared when new stuff actually drops. So, yeah, that’s my whole process. Pretty simple, but it works for me!
