Alright, so I’ve been diving deep into MLB The Show lately, and one thing I really wanted to figure out was how to request a trade. It’s not always obvious, and it took me a bit of messing around to get it right. So, here’s the deal, based on what I’ve learned so far.
First things first, you gotta be in “Road to the Show” mode. That’s where you create your player and try to make it to the big leagues. Can’t do this in Franchise or other modes, far as I can tell.
Starting out and Playing
You start by creating your baller, picking your position, all that jazz. Then you get drafted, or maybe you choose your team, whatever.
- Now you play. A LOT. you need to make progress and get better.
- Watch for emails from your agent. Pay close attention to how your player is developing.
Getting to the Trade Request
After a good chunk of time, and I mean a GOOD chunk – could be a full season, could be more, you can request it.
How I finally got it, You go into the “My Player” menu, then “My Career”, and under there you’ll find it. If it is grey, just play on, it will be unlocked soon, I think, I am not 100% sure yet.
