Okay, so I wanted to get the most out of my Madden 23 franchise, and I heard about these XP sliders. I was like, “What the heck are those?” Turns out, they can really change how fast your players level up. I wanted to find the “best” ones, so I did some digging.
My Experiment Begins
>

First, I jumped into a new franchise. I figured, gotta start fresh to really see the effects. I picked the Chiefs, because, well, Mahomes. Then I went into the franchise settings and found the XP sliders. They were all set to 100 by default.
I started messing around. I bumped up some, lowered others. My first thought was, “Let’s make my quarterback a god!” So I cranked the QB slider way up. I played a few games, and yeah, Mahomes was leveling up like crazy. But my running backs? Not so much.
Finding the Balance
>
So, that wasn’t the “best.” It was too much. I realized I needed a more balanced approach. Something that would help all my players develop, not just one superstar.
I did find it, after a few trial and error, I settled on these, it is work for me:
- QB:130
- RB:140
- TE:120
- WR:120
- OL:150
- DL:120
- LB:120
- DB:120
- K/P:90
The Results

I played a whole season with the new settings I found. It felt much better. My whole team was improving, and not just one or two guys. I got a more well-rounded and I think that’s what I was really looking for.
So, are these the absolute “best” XP sliders? Maybe, maybe not. It depends on how you want to play. But for me, they worked great. They gave me a good balance and made my franchise experience a lot more * them and let me know!
