Okay, so a while back, I was totally hooked on Pokemon Go, just like everyone else. I was catching ’em all, battling in gyms, the whole nine yards. The research tasks, I recall, were pretty involved. I mean, more so than the usual “catch 10 Pokemon” stuff.
- I had to catch a bunch of Ghost-type Pokemon. Luckily, it was Halloween, so those were everywhere. Duskulls, Shuppets, you name it, I caught it.
- Then there was the “make a new friend” I had to add a friend and send it a gift, easy job, I just did what the tasks require.
- Then there was the number I had to remember is 108. Catch 108 Pokemon. Easy but I spent time on it.
I kept plugging away at these tasks. It took a few days, juggling it with work and, you know, life. There were a couple of frustrating moments, like when I ran out of Pokeballs at a crucial moment. Note to self: always stock up!
Finally, My Spiritomb!
Finally, I finished the last task. I remember holding my breath as the reward screen popped up. And there it was – a swirling vortex of purple and green, and then, Spiritomb! I tapped on it, threw a berry (gotta be careful!), and tossed a Great Ball. One shake, two shakes, three shakes… click! Gotcha!
I was so stoked! It wasn’t just about adding another Pokemon to my collection. It was the whole process – the research, the waiting, the effort. It felt like a real accomplishment.
So, my advice for anyone trying to get Spiritomb in Pokemon Go? Keep an eye out for those Special Research tasks, especially around Halloween. Be patient, be persistent, and stock up on Pokeballs! It might take some time, but it’s totally worth it when you finally see that spooky face pop up on your screen.
