Okay, so, let’s talk about this “Cloudpool Ridge Arceus” thing. I was messing around with Pokemon Legends: Arceus, as one does, and I heard some whispers online about a way to, shall we say, acquire Arceus a little… differently. I was intrigued, so I started digging.
First, I spent some time just wandering around, you know, getting a feel for the Hisui region. Specifically, I focused on the Coronet Highlands. I knew Arceus was supposed to show up there eventually, but I was impatient. I battled a bunch of Pokemon, caught some, and basically just leveled up my team.

My First Attempts
- I initially tried just rushing to the top of Mount Coronet. Nope. Nothing.
- Then, I thought, “Maybe I need to complete more of the main story?” So I did. Still nothing.
- I even tried different times of day! Sunrise, sunset, middle of the night… you name it. No Arceus.
I started to get frustrated, honestly. It felt like everyone else had figured this out except me. I went back to the online forums and read through everything again. Finally, I found a slightly clearer explanation, or at least, I thought I did.
It turned out, the key was related to the plates. All of them. You need all the plates!
I started to find and collect the plates from the noble Pokémon, and beat every main mission until i got the mission “Seeking the Remaining Plates”.
The Real Deal
After gathering all the plates and finish the mission, I went back to the Temple of Sinnoh, at the peak of mount Coronet.I played the Azure Flute, and a stairway of light appear.
I go straight ahead and there was Arceus, waiting for me.
It’s a pretty tough fight but I had good pokemons, so I won and I finally caught Arceus.
So, yeah, that’s my story of finally getting Arceus. It was a bit of a winding road, with some dead ends and frustration, but hey, I got there in the end. I’m not sure if I’d recommend this specific “method” – it’s basically just playing the game as intended – but it definitely felt good to finally catch that legendary Pokemon!
