Okay, so I’ve been playing a lot of Pokemon lately, and I kept getting wrecked by these Ghost-types. My Fairy-types, which I thought were super strong, just kept getting knocked out. It was super frustrating! So, I decided to do some digging and figure out what was going on.
I started by just battling more. I figured the more I fought against Ghost-types, the better I’d get at understanding their moves and weaknesses. I lost, a lot. Like, a real lot. My poor Sylveon… it fainted so many times.
Then, I did what anyone with no clue would do.I did check a few online resources and found that the fairy type has a resistance to fighting, bug, and dark type moves, it’s also immune to dragon type moves. I read through some forums and stuff. Some people were saying that Fairy is weak to Ghost, so I start to test.
I started, like, actually testing it * turned out that the fairy type is weak to poison and steel type * make senses!
- First, I grabbed my best Fairy-type Pokemon.
- Then, I found some trainers with Ghost-type Pokemon.
- And finally, I let the battles begin, paying super close attention to the damage numbers.
The Results
My hypothesis was wrong,I noticed that fairy Pokemon isn’t weak to Ghost type,but ghost type moves are not very effective against fairy type Pokemon. Also,I found that the fairy type is weak to poison and steel type *, yeah, my Fairy-types weren’t getting destroyed because of a type * was a lot of things to consider for real.
