Alright, so I’ve been playing a TON of League lately, mostly with my duo partner who mains Yuumi. We’ve been trying to figure out the absolute best ADCs to pair with her, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey. We’ve had some hilarious fails and some epic wins, so I figured I’d share what I’ve learned so far.
First, I started by just trying random stuff. Seriously, we picked champions we thought looked cool, champions we’d never played before, you name it. We even tried some really weird off-meta picks, which, predictably, didn’t go so well. Think Yuumi and, I don’t know, Garen bot lane. Yeah, it was bad.

Then, I started getting a little more methodical. I started watching some high-elo streamers and pro players to see what they were doing. It became a case of watching, trying to do it myself, and failing miserably. It took a while to figure things out.
So, my current working list, refined through lots of painful losses and a few glorious victories, is like this:
My Yuumi Synergy Power Rankings
- Ezreal: This dude is probably my top pick right now. His poke with Q is insane, and Yuumi just amps it up. He’s also got that E for safety, which is HUGE when you’ve got a Yuumi attached who can’t really peel. I spent hours just spamming Ezreal games, learning his Q range and how to weave in autos. It felt clunky at first, but now it’s super smooth.
- Caitlyn: The range is just ridiculous. We found that we could zone enemies off the wave completely, just by poking them constantly. I had to really practice landing her traps, though. My duo would ping me every time I missed one.
- Jhin: Okay, this one surprised me, he is art. His fourth shot with Yuumi’s buff is terrifying, he has CC, and he has W to follow. And his ult with Yuumi? Chef’s kiss.
- Sivir:This one is great, it gives a lot speed, and she can throw abilities none stop with Yuumi mana, that combination is so crazy.
The biggest lesson I learned? It’s not just about the champion, it’s about how you play them with Yuumi. You have to adjust your playstyle. You can’t just play like you normally would. For example, I had to learn to be way more aggressive with Ezreal than I usually am, trusting that Yuumi’s heal and speed boost would keep me alive.
It’s a constant work in progress, though. We’re still experimenting, still learning, and still, occasionally, having those “what were we thinking?” moments. But hey, that’s part of the fun, right?
