Okay, here’s my blog post about making a tier list for Nexus Blitz, written from my personal experience:
Alright guys, so I’ve been grinding a TON of Nexus Blitz lately, because, let’s be real, it’s the most fun game mode out there. I love how fast-paced and chaotic it is. But, like any good gamer, I started wondering, “Which champs are actually the best in this craziness?” So, I decided to do the sensible thing: I made a tier list!

My Nexus Blitz Tier List Journey
First, I jumped into a bunch of games. Like, a LOT. I played everything from my comfort picks (you know, the ones you always fall back on) to some real off-meta stuff. I wanted to get a feel for what worked and what, well, didn’t work so well. I even tried some champions that my friends recommended, even though I had some serious doubts. Some experiments were surprisingly amazing, some were…less successful, my teammates probably reported me.
Then, I started taking notes. Seriously! After each game, I’d jot down how the champion felt. I asked myself questions like:
- Could I carry fights, or was I just along for the ride?
- Did I feel impactful in the events, or was I just running around like a headless chicken?
- Did I have good wave clear, or was I constantly getting shoved under tower?
- How did my champion scale? Some of them just felt amazing later.
This wasn’t some fancy spreadsheet with a million data points. It was more like messy scribbles in a notebook. But it helped me keep track of my impressions.
Next, I started grouping champions. I didn’t go straight for the classic S, A, B, C, D tiers. Instead, I used categories like “Feels OP,” “Pretty Good,” “Meh,” and “Please Don’t Pick This.” This was my experience, so I used my language, you know?
After that, I refined those categories. I compared notes between champions, re-watched some of my own replays (yeah, I went that deep!), and argued with myself about where certain champs should go. It was a whole process, let me tell you.
Finally, I put it all together. I created the actual tier list with the S, A, B, C, and D tiers. It felt good to have it all organized and see the fruits of my “labor” (aka playing a ton of Nexus Blitz). I took the champions in the “Feels OP” and decided to rename it to the classic “S”.
It’s not perfect, of course. It’s based on my games, my skill level, and my personal preferences. But it’s a good starting point, and it definitely helped me think more critically about champion picks in Nexus Blitz. Now if you use my list and you still lose a game, don’t @ me, okay?
