Okay, so today I decided to mess around with “Holo Bomb” in Holocure. I’d seen some crazy videos online, and I wanted to see if I could make it work for myself. It’s not something I usually go for, but hey, gotta try new things, right?
Getting Started
First, I had to actually unlock the darn thing. I’d been playing pretty casually, so I didn’t have all the characters or weapons yet. So, I spent a good chunk of time just grinding out some stages, getting those achievements, and finally getting my hands on what I needed to even try the Holo Bomb.

The Setup
Next, I had to figure out the, uh, “optimal” build, I guess you’d call it. I went online to look at some stuff that some really hardcore players do, after some time I ended up using the character that I felt most comfortable with, and select these items:
- Holo Bomb: Obvious, its the core of the build.
- Some damage-boosting items: I just grab the ones that I like and looks like they are good.
- Some defensive stuff: Because, you know, gotta not die immediately.
It wasn’t exactly a perfect, min-maxed build, but it felt good enough to at least try things out.
The Mayhem
Then came the fun part – actually using the Holo Bomb. I jumped into a stage, got my weapons leveled up a bit, and then… BOOM! I start spamming those bombs. It was absolute chaos! Stuff was exploding everywhere, the screen was flashing, and my frame rate was probably crying. It was pretty satisfying to watch everything just melt, though.
The Results
Honestly? It was pretty awesome. It’s not the most, like, strategic way to play, but it’s definitely fun. I managed to clear a stage I’d been struggling with before, mostly because I just blew everything up before it could get close. I felt like a total powerhouse, even if it was a bit… messy.
I definitely wouldn’t say I’m a Holo Bomb “master” now, but I can see why people like it. It’s just pure, unadulterated destruction. And sometimes, that’s exactly what you want in a game. I’m gonna keep playing around with it, see if I can get even more ridiculous with the explosions. It’s a good time!
