Okay, so, the other day I decided to hop back into Elder Scrolls Online. I hadn’t played in a while, and I was really itching to get back to Tamriel. I fired up the game, and… bam! Login queue. Ugh.
It wasn’t a huge surprise. I mean, it’s a popular game, especially when there are events or new content drops. But still, nobody likes waiting in a queue, right?

So, I started by just staring at the screen. You know, the classic “maybe if I will it hard enough, it’ll go faster” approach. That, predictably, didn’t work. The number barely budged.
Then, I thought, “Okay, I’ll be productive!” I grabbed my phone and started browsing reddit, and looking at some ESO-related stuff. That helped pass the time a little, but I kept glancing back at the queue timer, my impatience growing.
The Waiting Game
- Phase 1: Denial. “It’ll be quick, just a few minutes.”
- Phase 2: Mild Annoyance. “Okay, seriously, what’s taking so long?”
- Phase 3: Resignation. “Fine. I’ll just… wait.”
- Phase 4: Mild excitement!”I can almost log in,just a few more minutes.”
After what felt like forever (it was probably, like, 20 minutes, tops), I finally saw the queue number start ticking down faster. Sweet relief! I put my phone down, sat up straighter, and prepared myself for adventure.
And… finally! I was in! I ran my character over to the nearest wayshrine and started my questing. The wait was totally worth it, even if it did test my patience a little. It’s just one of those things you gotta deal with sometimes when you’re playing an MMO, I guess.
So, that’s my thrilling tale of the ESO login queue. Not the most exciting adventure in Tamriel, but hey, it’s part of the experience!
