Alright, guys, let’s talk about CS:GO cases. I’ve been messing around with these things for a while, trying to figure out if there’s any real way to make a profit, and, well, it’s been a rollercoaster.
My CS:GO Case Opening Adventure
I started by just buying a bunch of random cases, whatever looked cool or was hyped up at the moment. I think my first purchase was like, 10 cases of different collections. I felt it lucky.

I ripped them open, one by one. Mostly blues, a few purples, nothing amazing. I think I lost like, half my money right off the bat. Classic, right?
Then, I watched open case videos. Those guys always seemed to pull knives and reds. So, I started looking into which cases had the “best odds”. I mean, they all have terrible odds, let’s be real, but some are slightly less terrible than others.
I spent a good chunk of time diving deep into case prices, looking at the potential value of the drops, and comparing it all. It felt like homework, but for video game skins. I even made a simple list to track the value of drops.
- case1: drop1,drop2…dropxxx
- case2: drop1,drop2…dropxxx
- case3: drop1,drop2…dropxxx
I focused on a few cases that seemed promising, bought a bunch, and… still mostly blues. I did get a couple of decent drops, a few reds made me happy for a moment.
I sold everything I got, and then I calculated it.I was making a tiny bit of profit, It was a good result to me at that time, but I spent a lot of time to get this little profit.
So I start thinking, why not buy low, sell high? Simple bussiness logic, right?
I started to look at the case prices, and I found that some of the cases, the price went up and down like crazy. So I started buying cases when they were cheap, and then holding them, and it worked! The price went up, and I could sell it for more!
Now, I am still doing this, I mainly focus on a few ones, buying it cheap and selling it when the price goes up.
It’s not a way to get rich quickly, far from it, but I can get some profit.

So, that’s my experience with CS:GO cases. It’s a gamble, sometimes fun, sometimes make you feel like an idiot.
