Okay, so I wanted to try out the League of Legends PBE, you know, the Public Beta Environment where they test out new stuff. Here’s how I went about installing it.
Getting Started
First, I needed to make sure I had a regular League of Legends account. I have one, so no worries.

Check My account
Then, I checked my account. The PBE is for players with good standing, meaning no bans or restrictions. I checked my account, it is good.
Signing Up
I went to the PBE sign-up page. And then, I clicked a button that said something like “Check my eligibility”. After that, I logged in with my regular League account. The site did its thing, and boom, it told me I was good to go.
I Got a PBE account! It gave me a new username and password just for the PBE.
Downloading the Client
Next, I need download the PBE client. I clicked the download button.
Installing and Running
Once the download finished, I opened the file and followed the usual installation steps, you know, clicking “Next,” agreeing to terms and conditions, choosing where to install it. Pretty standard stuff.
After it was installed, I launched the PBE client. It needed to patch and download a bunch of stuff, which took a little time, so I just grab a drink and waited.
Logging In
Finally, I used the PBE username and password I was earlier to log in. And that’s it! I was in and ready to check out all the new champions, skins, and whatever else Riot was cooking up.
It was a fairly simple process, the waiting for downloads and patches was the longest part. Now I can play it.
