Okay, so I’ve been grinding away at Marvel Snap again, and it’s time to talk about the May 2024 Season Pass. Gotta say, I was pretty hyped when I saw what was coming.
First thing I did, as always, was check out the new card they were offering. This time it’s Sebastian Shaw. Gotta love it! When I first saw the ability, I was thinking, “Hmm, how can I make this work?”

Diving into Deck Building
So, I jumped into my collection and started tinkering. My first thought was pairing him with cards that get boosted throughout the game, kind of like a classic Surfer deck.
- I threw in some cards with ongoing effects.
- Then I added some heavy hitters to make sure I had some punch.
- And Of course put Forge and Nico in to get that early power.
I spent a good couple of hours just trying different combinations. It’s always a puzzle, trying to figure out the best synergies. Sometimes it clicks right away, other times… well, let’s just say I went back to the drawing board a few times.
Putting the Deck to the Test
After I built a few variations of what I thought might work, I hit the ranked ladder. The first few matches were rough, no doubt. I was still getting a feel for the deck, figuring out the right play patterns. Some things I thought would be great just didn’t pan out the way I expected.
But, after a while, I started to get the hang of it. I learned when to snap, when to hold back, and when to go all-in with Sebastian Shaw. It’s all about timing, really.
Making Adjustments
Even after I started winning more consistently, I still made some tweaks. I swapped out a couple of cards that weren’t performing as well as I’d hoped. I experimented with some tech cards to counter specific decks I was seeing a lot.
It’s a constant process of refinement. You’re always looking for that little edge, that one card that can turn a close loss into a win.
My Overall Impression of Marvel Snap May Season Pass
Finally, I was happy with the deck. It’s not going to win every game, of course, but it’s competitive and fun to play. And that’s what matters, right? Having fun while climbing the ranks.
I’ve managed to climb a decent amount, and I’m still pushing. I’m not sure how far I’ll get this season, but I’m definitely enjoying the ride. So, to summarize, I think this month’s Season Pass is worth to try. And Sebastian Shaw is a really good card with nice synergies!
