Okay, here’s my blog post about creating a “Dragon Ball” skin, written in the style you requested:
Alright, so I got this idea to make a Dragon Ball skin. I’m a huge fan, you know, grew up with Goku and the whole gang. So, I’m thinking, “Why not bring a little bit of that Saiyan power into my, uh, digital world?”

Getting Started
First thing I did was just brainstorm. What character did I want to do? Goku’s the obvious choice, but I’ve seen a ton of those. Vegeta? Maybe. But then it hit me: Gohan, in his Super Saiyan 2 form from the Cell Games. That iconic look, the lightning, the whole deal. Perfect!
I needed reference images, loads of them. I spent a good hour just Googling “SSJ2 Gohan,” “Gohan Cell Games,” you get the picture. I saved a bunch of pictures, different angles, close-ups of his outfit, the whole nine yards.
The Nitty-Gritty
So, then came the actual work. I’m not gonna lie, it was kinda tedious. I picked the tool I wanted. It was an exercise in patience, lots of trial and error.
I started with the basics, the gi (that’s his orange outfit, for those who don’t know). Getting the color just right was tricky. It’s not just plain orange, it’s got some shading, some lighter and darker areas. I used a few different shades of orange and yellow, trying to mimic the way the light hits it in the anime.
- The Hair: Man, the hair was a challenge. Super Saiyan hair is all spiky and golden. I layered different shades of yellow and white, trying to get that “glowing” effect.
- The Face: This was probably the hardest part. Getting Gohan’s determined expression right, the eyes, the slight scowl… I re-did the eyes like five times, I swear.
- The Details: The little things matter. The tears in his gi, the scuffs on his boots, the purple undershirt… I added all those in to make it look as authentic as possible.
Final Touches and Show-off Time!
After hours of tinkering, I finally had something I was proud of. I looked it all over, made a few last-minute tweaks, and boom! My Super Saiyan 2 Gohan was ready.
I’m pretty stoked with how it turned out. It’s not perfect, but it definitely captures that Dragon Ball Z vibe. It’s cool seeing my favorite character every time . It’s like I’ve got a little piece of the Dragon Ball world with me.
I hope everyone can create their own unique skin. See you!
