Okay, so I’ve been grinding FIFA 22 like crazy, especially with the FUT Birthday promo. Let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I started off pretty clueless, just like everyone else, wondering what all the fuss was about.
Getting Started
First thing I did was jump into the menus. I scrolled through all the new content, checking out the new player cards, Squad Building Challenges (SBCs), and objectives. It was a bit overwhelming at first, so many shiny new things!
The Grind Begins
I focused on the objectives first. These are usually pretty straightforward – play a certain number of games, score with specific types of players, that kind of thing. The rewards were decent, some packs, and even some FUT Birthday player tokens.
- Play 5 matches in the Live FUT Friendly: New Allegiance.
- Score using a player from LaLiga.
- Win 3 Matches.
Next up, I tackled some of the SBCs. Some of these were pretty pricey, requiring high-rated players, but the rewards were tempting. I managed to complete a few of the cheaper ones, snagging some more packs and a couple of those special FUT Birthday players.
The Token System
The big thing with FUT Birthday this year was the token system. You earn these tokens by completing various objectives and SBCs. I really dug into the fine print to understand what I needed to do. I made a mental note to make a spreadsheet, but…procrastination.
Pack Luck (or Lack Thereof)
Of course, the main goal is to pack those amazing FUT Birthday cards. My pack luck? Well, let’s just say it’s been… inconsistent. I ripped open a ton of packs – some from objectives, some from SBCs, and yes, I even splurged on a few with FIFA points (don’t judge!).
I got a few decent pulls, nothing super crazy, but enough to keep me motivated. One good one and I’d be set, right?
Team Building
With the new players I acquired, I started experimenting with my team. I tried different formations, swapped players around, and tested things out in online matches. It’s all about finding that perfect chemistry, you know?
Ongoing Effort
I’m still grinding away, trying to get my hands on as many FUT Birthday cards as I can. More objectives and SBCS, all day.
