Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into FIFA 22 lately, especially with the FUT Birthday promo. Let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride! I wanted to share my experience, what I did, and how it all turned out.
Getting Started
First things first, I logged in every day. Seriously, every. single. day. Gotta get those daily login rewards, you know? Even if I didn’t have time to play a full match, I made sure to at least get into the game and snag those packs or tokens.
Then I started grinding those Squad Building Challenges (SBCs). FUT Birthday brought in some special SBCs with pretty decent rewards, so I made those a priority. Some were easy, some were a pain, requiring specific players or ratings, but I managed to complete most of them.
The Token Hunt
The big thing this year was the FUT Birthday Swaps tokens. Man, I spent hours hunting these down! I scoured every objective, every SBC, everything. I even played a bunch of Squad Battles, which I usually avoid, just to get those tokens. I was determined to get every possible reward.
- I checked the objectives menu like a hawk, multiple times a day.
- I played (and often raged at) those annoying “First to…” objectives in Friendlies.
- I even asked my friends if they had spotted any tokens I missed.
Pack Luck (or Lack Thereof)
Of course, with all these packs, I was hoping for some big pulls. I’ll be honest, my pack luck wasn’t amazing. I opened a ton of packs, both earned and bought (don’t judge!), and I didn’t get any of the top-tier FUT Birthday cards. The best I got was probably a few 88-rated players that didn’t even fit my team. Disappointing? Yeah, a little. But hey, that’s the game, right?
The End Result
So, after all that grinding, what did I achieve? Well, I managed to collect enough tokens to get some pretty good fodder for SBCs. I also got a few of the lower-rated FUT Birthday players, which were fun to try out, even if they weren’t game-changers. Overall, I’d say it was a decent experience. I didn’t get everything I wanted, but I still had fun playing and trying to maximize the event.
Would I do it all again? Probably. I’m a sucker for these FIFA promos, and the FUT Birthday is always a good time. Just gotta keep my expectations in check next time when it comes to pack luck!
