Okay, so, I’ve been really into Animal Crossing lately, especially with it being December and all. I wanted to catch all those special December bugs, you know? So, I geared up and started my bug hunt this month.
Getting Ready
First off, I made sure my net was ready. No holes, you know, gotta be prepared. Then, I checked out what bugs are even out in December. I found out that there are a bunch of cool ones that only come out this time of year.

The Hunt Begins
I started playing in the evenings, ’cause that’s when a lot of these bugs are supposed to show up. I was running around my island, shaking trees, looking at flowers, you name it.
- Dung Beetle: This one was kinda funny. I had to roll snowballs around and wait for the beetle to appear. It took a while, but I finally caught one!
- Emperor Butterfly: Man, this one is pretty. It was just flying around my flowers. Took a few tries, but I snagged it.
- Rajah Brooke’s Birdwing: Another beauty! This one was also around the flowers. I had to be really patient, but it was worth it.
Other Bugs
I also caught some other bugs that are around all year, but it’s still fun to catch them, right? Like the Moth and the Tiger Beetle. They’re not as rare, but hey, a bug’s a bug!
Wrapping Up
So, yeah, that’s been my December bug-catching adventure in Animal Crossing. It’s been a blast. I managed to find them all. There are still some that I haven’t seen yet. But I’m not giving up. The hunt continues. I love how there’s always something new to find in this game. Anyway, if you’re playing too, happy bug hunting! Catch you later!
